The Blog Options panel provides a variety of capabilities that alters the functionality of various elements of blog posts and pages. Under this tab, you will find the following options:
- Disable URL in Comments – by default, WordPress is asking a visitor/user who is submitting a comment on a post to write in a website URL. Most webmasters wish to disable this feature, which can be done by a variety of plugins or by adding some code to your site. This built-in option allows you to disable the URL field in the comments section on all your site’s posts.
- Disable Comments Sitewide – should you wish to disable the comments feature completely, turn this option on. It will remove the comments area, the comments form and also the comments admin menu in your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Enable Comments Toggle – by default, WordPress post comments are displayed opened. This option allows you to take the comments area and place it within a toggle, identical to how the Toggle module (or the Accordion module) looks like in Divi. Try it out and see for yourself!
